WC Attorney - Litigation Department
Matthew Nash is a former bankruptcy attorney who represented clients throughout the state of Georgia for the past 10 years. Matt appreciates the overwhelming and lifelong financial impact an injury can have on workers and their families. He saw firsthand through his prior clients the devastation an injury can bring upon families, but also recognized how an effective and diligent attorney can help lessen this financial blow. It was here that he began to hone his legal skills and became adept at communicating with clients. Matt is very excited about the opportunity to represent workers and their families and hopes to build lasting relationships with each one.
Matt was born in Columbus, OH but has resided in Georgia since 1996. He attended Piedmont College and graduated magna cum laude with a double major in Criminal Justice and Business Administration. He then attended Barry University School of Law in Orlando, FL, where he interned for the Honorable Judge Thomas W. Sculco, Judge of Compensation Claims (JCC). Matt is admitted to the bar at the Superior Courts of the State of Georgia and the U.S. District Court in both the Northern and Middle districts of Georgia. He is also admitted to the Georgia Appeals and Supreme Courts.
When Matt is not assisting clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two stepchildren and three dogs. As a former collegiate athlete, Matt is also highly active in the tennis community, participating in numerous leagues throughout the year. Matt also enjoys spending time on the lake any chance he gets and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes!
