Joice Peoples
PI Attorney
Joice Peoples was born and raised in Queens, New York, and began her legal career when she was 20.
After attending Alabama A&M University, Joice began her legal education at Touro Law Center in Central Islip, New York. She has worked with several law firms, practicing personal injury and insurance law.
Joice’s family history played a major role in her decision to become a lawyer. She is a first-generation Colombian American and saw firsthand how challenging it can be to understand the legal system. This inspired Joice to become the first person in her family to study law, allowing her to spread her knowledge to her family and community. Joice works to empower individuals and families like hers, helping them seek the compensation they deserve.
Clients can benefit from Joice’s excellent and earnest communication. Joice makes her clients a priority by explaining how she will manage their cases, how they can reach her, and what their cases will involve. While she maintains a professional attitude with her clients, Joice is also down to Earth and hopes to act as a guiding light for clients during their time of need.
Outside of work hours, Joice loves to spend time with her 6-year-old daughter, who reminds her to remain joyful and have fun. Reading, jogging, and playing soccer are some of Joice’s favorite hobbies.
