Edward Mejia is originally from Granada, Nicaragua. He graduated from Law School back in his home country at Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) and practiced law in Dispute Settlement issues related to International Trade regulations at the Department of Commerce. He was granted a scholarship to study a Master degree on International Trade and earned his Degree at Thomas Moore University.
Edward moved to Atlanta, GA over 10 years ago where he has lived most of the time. Edward was awarded a Scholarship to study in Michigan State University College of Law where he graduated from the LLM Degree designed for Foreign educated Lawyers. While studying in Michigan State University he was a board member of the LLM Student Association. Edward as a student was also a Law clerk at the Veterans Court House working with Honorable Judge Rosemarie Aquilina.
After he completed the LLM program at Michigan State College of Law he came back to Atlanta, GA and have been an active member in different organizations where he volunteers on his spare time.
Edward is a board member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association as Director of Memberships and he likes to be involved with the Hispanic community and participates in events of with the Nicaraguan community in Georgia.
Edward Mejia works at the Firm as Legal Assistant in the Personal Injury Department. Edward is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
