The Future Lawyers of Georgia Scholarship was created by Bader Scott Injury Lawyers for Georgians who are current law students or who have received and accepted an offer to attend an accredited law school.
Eligible students may apply for the scholarship by completing the form on this page. A scholarship committee appointed by the firm will decide the winner, who will be awarded $2,500 to further their education in law.
The scholarship application deadline was December 15, 2022.
Our Purpose in Offering This Scholarship
Our firm has long held the belief that lawyers owe a moral duty to be involved in their communities. As a Georgia law firm, Bader Scott Injury Lawyers has committed itself to helping the people of Georgia for years, both with their legal matters and with their everyday lives. We support multiple non-profits in the area, and our attorneys and staff avidly participate in local events.
We feel that by offering the Future Lawyers of Georgia Scholarship, we can help a goal-oriented student achieve their dream of practicing law while also strengthening our local community.

Managing Partner Bader Law shares Bader’s passion for this scholarship. “We also hope that by helping a future Georgia lawyer today, they will be encouraged to ‘pay it forward’ to their communities later,” Scott explained.
Rules of Eligibility
Bader Scott Injury Lawyers looks forward to receiving submissions from applicants with a wide variety of backgrounds. In order to be eligible for the Future Lawyers of Georgia Scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- A current resident of Georgia
- Agree to the scholarship’s Terms and Conditions
- Admitted to or enrolled in an accredited university or college or graduate school
- Composition of an essay on the scholarship topic outlined below
- Submission of a completed application form
Scholarship Essay Topic
Bader Scott Injury Lawyers firmly believes that law plays an essential role in local communities. In keeping with this philosophy, we ask that you write an essay on the following topic:
- Please write a well-organized essay describing a specific way in which legal advocacy has played a role in improving your local community. How do you hope to emulate the work of those lawyers in your future?
Please ensure your essay does not exceed 1,000 words. When you have finished writing the essay, save it as a PDF, and submit it with your application.
