Katie Utley

Katie Utley began her legal career with Bader Scott Injury Lawyers in 2022, just after graduating from Georgia State University College of Law and passing the Bar Exam.

She started on a different career path, though. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering before she knew she wanted to study and practice law. Her undergraduate studies lent themselves to her work as a law clerk in land law, medical malpractice, and patent law firms. From there, she grew a passion for personal injury law and became a member of the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia.  

Ms. Utley understands how confusing the legal world can be, so she takes pride in fighting for the underdog. She helps her clients and their families navigate the legal system and fight for justice. For Ms. Utley, the client always comes first, which is why she strives to make every client feel like her only client. She takes time to explain legal nuances so that they understand their options. 

More than that, she wants her clients to feel heard. She makes herself available to listen to their stories so that she can help them get the results they deserve. 

Ms. Utley was born and raised in Tifton, GA, and she has a passion for adventure when she’s not at the office or in court. She practiced pole vaulting in college, enjoys rock climbing, and is even working towards obtaining her private pilot license. She has two dogs, Gideon and Rocky, who keep her quite active, as well.
